Our Origin
Our cocoa beans come from São Tomé and Príncipe, a small island nation in the Gulf of Guinea often called "The Chocolate Islands."
Cocoa was first introduced here by the Portuguese in the early 19th century, and over time the islands became known for producing some of the finest cocoa in the world.
The fertile volcanic soil, tropical climate, and traditional farming methods create unique conditions for cultivating high-quality organic cocoa. Today, São Tomé and Príncipe is recognized for its sustainable production and for preserving the authentic flavors of fine cocoa.
